Medtimes Health

Care before surgery. Support after it.

A procedure is one part of a much longer journey. Medtimes connects the steps around it: assessment, referral, preparation, cost discussions and recovery support, alongside your treating team.

Surgical insight, built into care coordination

Our clinical co-founder Dr Rosemary Pitsi brings experience in surgical training to how we think about preparation, handovers and recovery. That perspective helps us connect the practical steps around treatment, with clinical decisions made by the professional responsible for your care.

Before a procedure

Request help coordinating the next assessment, relevant records, referrals and preparation requested by your treating team. The responsible clinician determines whether a procedure is appropriate and which investigations are needed.

Understand the whole cost

Ask for the proposed scope and written estimates, including separate provider fees, facility costs, anaesthesia, tests, medicines and aftercare where relevant. Confirm inclusions, exclusions and what happens if the plan changes. A coordination request is not a fixed-price surgery booking.

From discharge to follow-up

Request recovery or wound-care support around the treating team's discharge plan. Doorstep Health can fulfil supported physical visits where suitable staff and local capacity are available. Your surgical team remains responsible for its treatment decisions.

The appropriate setting matters

Surgery is performed by appropriately registered professionals in suitable facilities. Medtimes coordinates access and continuity; an online request does not book an operation, replace an examination or confirm surgical clearance.

Your questions, answered

Can I book an operation directly here?

No. Start with a care coordination request. Assessment, referral, provider acceptance, funding and facility availability must be confirmed before a procedure is arranged.

Can I request support after surgery elsewhere?

Yes, you can request a review of your recovery needs. The team will need the relevant discharge information and will confirm whether it can support your location and care requirements.

Does a request guarantee home nursing?

No. Scope, staffing, supplies, cost and location must be confirmed. A request does not establish round-the-clock monitoring.

What if I need emergency care?

Do not wait for an online request or callback. Use local emergency services or the nearest emergency department.

Medtimes is not an emergency service. Clinical decisions remain with appropriately registered professionals. Scope, cost and availability must be confirmed for your request.
